Late Greetings from The Tourism Authority of Thailand Dubai office to all our followers.
This year not only we have introduced our new “Smiling” Logo to keep “Amazing Thailand” colorful.
We’ve also had many activities in the area including the Sawasdee Cup Golf with the Royal Thai Consulate in January here in Dubai. The PRE-ATM Road show in April, to the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) itself. Many more joint activities with our partner airlines and agents here in the Middle East are still to come. We are still actively pumping the market to Thailand here in the Middle East, although things are looking to be tougher for Thailand.
On 15th of October 2016, Thailand has suffered from the greatest loss, our beloved King has passed away at the age of 88. With 70 years of his ruling, making him the longest ever ruled Monarch in the world. Due to this tragic event, TAT have limited the number of promotional activities, but will still continue to carry out some to maintain the image of Thailand while paying respect to the death of our beloved King.
For Travelers traveling to Thailand during this Mourning period, we have here in our website the guide line of what to do and what not to do while visiting Thailand during such time.
We do hope that our followers will have a chance to visit our beautiful country and see what Thailand in 2016 has to offer, especially in the new year period.
